Stranger things have happened
I'm really enjoying the soundtrack to The Wedding Banquet --- The Musical right now. It's got only five songs from the full libretto and I can hear the flaws, but forget all that: it's really kept me in a peppy musical mood all day. It's also made me nostalgic for Rent but I can't find my CDs right now, so The Wedding Banquet it is.I'm planning to write a proper review of it, just as a writing exercise, but that might take a while. Watch this space.
Meanwhile, go watch it. I had a blast, flaws and all. Not everything has to be perfect to be enjoyed.
