So it seems that when people who only know my first name find out about my double-barrelled five-syllable last name, their instinctive reaction is to think it's either a lie or a pen name of some kind.
Maybe, just maybe, to most people your first name — seems utterly incongruguent from your five syllable last name. :) Not everyone is used to last names with more than one syllable!

Our country is still too homogeneous for the majority race. They're not used to it lah.
actually, when you and terz were getting married and i got some email from him with your full name, i tot terz was pulling a fast one on me.
