Little accents

At the supermarket today, they had brilliant, shiny lemons. So I bought two and now have lemon slices to put in my cold water. Hurrah!

Lemon in water? Why? Are you sick?

AAAAAAAAAAAhahahahaha
tscd, that is making me laugh soooo loudly.

Meanwhile, I was going to ask, Tym, if you are being followed around by a waiter in a serious suit and a white towel neatly folded over one arm, asking if you'd like a twist of lemon.

It's true! Water-with-lemon cravings = head cold. Like, you know, those fancy restaurants where you see the matron with the stuffy nose order water-with-lemon in it. Except usually it is warm water or hot water and not cold water.

I have been tot a fancy restaurant where they floated cut strawberries and cucumbers in the water. How's that for class?

Water + lemon cravings = water tastes like crap without sparkly yum lemon on the edge.

In France, when you order water it either comes in a carafe or a bottle, and you have to distinguish between flat or bubbles. You have to ask for the lemon by name, sometimes even with Perrier. And it gets served, if they are correct, in a larger of the two wine glasses. Unless it's Perrier at the beach, in which case it comes in its own Perrier tall glass. That's the water ritual, so you know.
