Surprise!
The funniest thing at the end of a long, tiring Monday is to rip open the long-awaited card from a far-flung friend --- only to be stunned by a "Hairy Potter" birthday card and heartfelt happy birthday wishes within. And from someone who's known me for ten years! (Okay, just realised that I don't know her birthday either and it's not in my PDA so I'm screwed.)I think I shall send her an equally heartfelt birthday card in return.
